REBA MCGOUGH — Reba McGough was found to have breast cancer with spread behind the breast bone and the liver. In November, 2004, she took intensive chemotherapy (Cisplatin & Taxotere). In October 2005, she was found to have multiple liver metastases, estrogen and progesterone receptors were negative. On October 31, 2005, Reba came to North Central Mississippi Regional Cancer Center. A drug sensitivity assay was performed. She received sensitized whole liver radiotherapy. She has been receiving molecular targeted medication (prescription drug) and multiple non-prescription medicines to sustain her good response. As of the beginning of 2009, Reba continues to come to North Central Mississippi Regional Cancer Center in a sustained remission.
GAIL PATCH — Gail Patch presented to the North Central Mississippi Regional Cancer Center in September, 2006, with a liver diffusely involved with liver metastases. Reba had been told by a well known treatment center in Houston, Texas, that further standard treatment was futile. She received sensitized liver radiotherapy with an excellent response and disappearance of itching, confusion, and jaundice. She has experienced a sustained, good quality, clinical remission for well over two years. She has received a molecular targeted prescription drug with multiple non-prescription medicines to sustain a good quality clinical response. As of the beginning of 2009, she is still in a clinical remission.
JOE ROBINSON — Joe Robinson complained of abdominal pain in April 2008. In July 2008, he had a segmental colectomy with a pathology report consistent with colon cancer. On August 8, 2008, Joe came to North Central Mississippi Regional Cancer Center. He had a CT scan done which showed multiple metastases to the liver. Joe completed radiotherapy to the liver and is continuing a regimen of chemotherapy. Joe has received cancer sensitizing prescription drugs with multiple non-prescription medicines to sustain good quality, clinical remission. As of today, February 2009, Joe continues to live a good quality, clinical remission.
LAVON BREWER — On December 16, 2007, Lavon had a CT scan which showed diffuse liver metastases from an unknown primary. She was found to have uterine cancer which was the suspected primary. On January 17, 2008, Lavon came to North Central Mississippi Regional Cancer Center. Her initial visit showed a CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen) level of 2828. A drug resistance assay was performed. Since her initial consultation, Lavon has completed radiotherapy treatment to the liver. She has received cancer sensitizing prescription drugs and multiple non-prescription medicines along with standard chemotherapy drugs. Lavon has had a great response, and, as of 2009, she continues with a high quality clinical remission. Recent CEA levels have been less than 10.
