Patient Lavon Brewer

On December 16, 2007, Lavon Brewer had a CT scan which showed diffuse liver metastases from an unknown primary. She was found to have uterine cancer which was the suspected primary.

On January 17, 2008, Lavon came to North Central Mississippi Regional Cancer Center. Her initial visit showed a CEA (carcinoembryonic antigen) level of 2828. A drug resistance assay was performed.

Since her initial consultation, Lavon has completed radiotherapy treatment to the liver. She has received cancer sensitizing prescription drugs and multiple non-prescription medicines along with standard chemotherapy drugs.

Lavon has had a great response, and, as of 2009, she continues with a high quality clinical remission. Recent CEA levels have been less than 10.
