Patient Reba McGough
Reba McGough was found to have breast cancer with spread behind the breast bone and the liver. In November, 2004, she took intensive chemotherapy (Cisplatin & Taxotere). In October 2005, she was found to have multiple liver metastases, estrogen and progesterone receptors were negative.
On October 31, 2005, Reba came to North Central Mississippi Regional Cancer Center. A drug sensitivity assay was performed. She received sensitized whole liver radiotherapy. She has been receiving molecular targeted medication (prescription drug) and multiple non-prescription medicines to sustain her good response.
As of the beginning of 2009, Reba continues to come to North Central Mississippi Regional Cancer Center in a sustained remission.
